Every site has rules, and I'm afraid we're no different. These rules have been set in place to keep the forum organized and every member that joins is expected to have read these rules, so please read carefully.
1.) Registration
When registering on the board you can choose any username you wish, but when it comes to display names we ask that you use your character's first and last name with proper capitalization. Example "John Doe."
2.) Posting
We are a no word count site so you don't have to make super long posts every time you post, but at the same time we ask that you at least match what your partner gives you while role-playing. If you wish to do rapid fire then let your partner know that.
3.) Activity
We have no activity checks nor do we pressure folk to be super active. The whole point of the forum is to come on when you have spare time and post when you can. That said we do ask that you post at least once a day to keep things moving.
4.) Character Creation
When making a character we ask that you follow the template provided in the Character Application Submission board. Original characters are allowed and encouraged. If you do choose to play one of the many Tomb Raider canons (from either the games or the movies) we do ask that you use your own words and not copy the Tomb Raider wiki pages.
5.) Respect
This is a key word here. Please respect your fellow members and staff members at all times. Staff are here to help people learn the basics and to keep everything running smoothly, so respect them. We also ask that you respect other members' opinions that are stated on the site. You can have disagreements, but please be respectful when voicing them.
6.) No Hate
This is a TOS rule as well as our own, Tomb Raider RPG will not tolerate any racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or any other hateful slurs aimed at other members or in general. These posts will be removed immediately and the offending party warned or banned depending on the severity.
7.) Content Rating
Due to ProBoards TOS we are a PG-13 forum. This means there is to be no super strong language, or graphic scenes of sex and violence. Basically, anything you've seen in a PG-13 movie is acceptable here. If you're unsure where the line is then please ask a member of staff.
8.) Face Claims
You'll need one. Face Claims are mandatory and must be of a well known actor or model. Basically, they have to at least be easily searchable when putting in their name to Google. If you need help finding a face claim then again please contact a member of staff and we'll do our best to aid you.
